This is where the famous mountain guide Ulrich Inderbinen (1900-2004) lived as a child, from early summer through to the new year. 

The Winkelmatten playground at the southern end of the village may be some way from the resort centre, but the view of the Matterhorn is magnificent.

This is a group of wooden buildings that stand close together on both sides of the path and mostly date from after 1850.
