Husky Sleigh Rides in Front of the Matterhorn

Next available date: Fri, 13 Dec 2024

A guide will pick you up at the meeting point on the mountain: Trockenen Steg 3,000 MASL at the restaurant. You will be taken to the husky site. The guide will look after you during the one-and-a-half-hour event. There you will get to know the huskies. The experienced musher (husky owner) will tell you exciting things about the huskies while you are allowed to pet the animals.

After that, the animals are harnessed to the sleds and off you go. While you enjoy the ride, the musher steers the sled and gives the animals commands. The guide takes photos of your ride. Each person can take two rides. There is a maximum of two adults in the sled. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

If there are enough bookings (max. 12 people) per booking time, two sleds will set off on the circuit at the same time. The duration of the ride depends on the snow conditions on the route and the energy of the animals and takes an average of 8 minutes.
